Product Summary
The HCPL-4506 is an Intelligent Power Module and Gate Drive Interface Optocoupler. It contains a GaAsP LED. The LED is optically coupled to an integrated high gain photo detector. Minimized propagation delay difference between devices makes the HCPL-4506 excellent solutions for improving inverter efciency through reduced switching dead time. The applications of the HCPL-4506 are IPM isolation, Isolated IGBT/MOSFET gate drive, AC and brushless DC motor drives, Industrial inverters.
